Why choose Goulight?
Goulight gives you dedicated mobile apps alongside the web app, with English and Swedish interfaces. Build a gear library, use it across trips, keep track of base weight and share your packing decisions. It is a good fit when your priority is organising what goes in the pack.
Where PackWizard is a better fit
PackWizard combines list planning with gear research. Its catalogue, retailer prices, price history and community reviews help when you are choosing what to buy. It also has a Gear Closet, sharing and a checklist. Goulight does not offer price comparisons; if shopping research is central to your workflow, keep that difference in mind.
Bring your pack, not the whole catalogue
Import a public PackWizard share link to create a separate Goulight list. Categories, item descriptions, quantities, weights and worn or consumable markings are imported. Available images are fetched where possible. Retailer prices, product links, reviews and your entire Gear Closet do not transfer. Your original PackWizard list stays unchanged.
Try it with your existing gear
Import is included in Goulight Free, within the five-list limit. Pro removes that limit and adds packing mode and PDF export. PackWizard describes its service as free without paywalls. You can try a Goulight copy without committing to move every list; it is a one-time import, not an ongoing sync.
